ERASME’s 2022 Summer School on System Dynamics for Sustainability will take place in Laschamps, Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, close to Clermont-Ferrand, France. For two weeks, we will carry out our activities at Espace Volcan, an eco-friendly chalet & event centre. The area is great for hikes to nearby Puy de Dôme, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Chaîne de Puys-Limagne fault of dormant volcanoes. It is also part of the Santiago de Compostela route and hosts annul stages in Le Tour de France!
How to get to Laschamps?
Whether you come by air, train or bus, the closest transportation hub is Clermont-Ferrand. If you plan to come by plane, the nearest international airports are Paris and Lyon. There are direct buses and trains from both Paris (Paris Bercy) and Lyon to Clermont-Ferrand. From Clermont-Ferrand, Laschamps is a 20min (13km) ride by taxi.
